Just wanted to post this great photo of my Wisconsin Courthouse series while on display inside Manitowoc County Courthouse.

My latest paintings have been on the theme of dandelions. I am working on a new series and i'd like to feature maybe 10 paintings. 

Here's my latest painting, a new Tower Dandelions.
Since people enjoy the blue hues and perspective i thought i'd do something similar.

All 8 Wisconsin Courthouses are finally framed.
I contacted a couple of the courthouses and they've agreed to put them on public display for a month.

August 2016 - Manitowoc County Courthouse

Here's my latest. It's another glorious courthouse that was knocked in the 1950's. This time I wanted to do a winter scene but in antique looking vintage hues.

It's been an age since i posted anything. Am thinking of just doing away with this page since it's not really being used.

But anyway since i'm here...

I've uploaded some Graphite drawings I made a long time ago. Rather Irish Famine themed. But i like them.

Also completed another Wisconsin Courthouse.
This time it's one that no longer exists.
Janesville, Rock County had this nice building standing from 1896-1955.
What were they thinking back in the 50's when they started knocking down all these nice buildings?

I'm currently working on another former courthouse that's long gone today. Hope to finish it upload in the next couple weeks.

Added a couple more pieces: Glendalough, a groovy early Christian settlement in  Wicklow. Painted in a stylized manner.
 
Then Bayfield County Courthouse, my 2nd Wisconsin courthouse.

Here's a piece I just finished that depicts a small boy holding a pumpkin. I was inspired from a photo of my cousin's son Jonah. However I didn't capture Jonah's likeness in my picture.

I liked the general autumn setting and colours, washed out in a golden hue. But then strongly contrasted with vibrant hues of blue, red, orange and green of the boy.

Using some new paper I've completed a colourful rendering of a decorative building from my home county.
This is the Grant County Courthouse in Lancaster, Wisconsin. It was built in 1902.

I took a very liberal and expressive approach, I wanted to work quickly and accentuate the roof of the building. It reminds me of the architecture in France.

The composition is a little interesting, however I am not over-pleased with the 2 short trees in front. It suggests a sort of mirror'd effect within the over all composition which I find distracting. I might take another stab at this building, as I enjoy the colours and the roof.
